Women in Information Technology (WIT) works to empower women

Salam Yamout, Cisco's Program Manager for the Partnership for Lebanon, Leila Serhan, the general manager of Microsoft Lebanon, and Paulette Assaf, the Program Manager at Cisco, have founded the Beirut-based organization Women in Information Technology (WIT), as a platform to empower professional women by encouraging them to use ICT to enhance their exchange of ideas and information. Here they discuss the goals of WIT, and their obstacles they face in trying to empower women.
