Beware of Praise [Pic of the Week]

Fadi Ghandour said it. Arif Naqvi said it. A previous entrepreneur turned VC and blogger told his story. And maybe Chuck D said it best: Don't Believe the Hype. Praise is motivating, and gets you through the tough moments; sometimes maybe just a little is all you need to keep going when the going gets tough. But it can be toxic in too-high doses.

Was there a moment where buying too much into praise led you, or a business you know, down the wrong path? Or is there just not enough of it currently for business owners who are working hard but haven't gotten their name out there?
