2013 Orange Price for Social Entrepreneurs in Africa Deadline
Orange is launching the 3rd edition of its Prix Orange de l'entrepreneur social en Afrique.
This award is promoting the development of entrepreneurs and startups that use Information Technology and Communication (ICT) in order to improve the lives of people in Africa. The winners will receive financial support of up to €25,000 and a six months Orange mentorship.
The Orange Price will reward three new projects or companies. The projects can cover fields as diversed as agriculture, health, education, banking, e-commerce and more.
Any one older than 21 can participate, the only restriction is that the companies or projects must concern one of the 18 countries where Orange is implanted: Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Uganda, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Botswana and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
