Wamda for Women Entrepreneurs roundtables - Amman, Jordan
Wamda for Women Entrepreneurs (W4Women) is coming to Amman on May 24, 2013.
W4Women is a series of two-hour roundtable discussions organized by Wamda to debate about the role of women in the workforce, focusing on how women can lead the way in supporting each other and effecting change.
In small, off-the-record group discussions, the participants will debate the following questions:
- what are some of the stereotypes we face as women in the workplace, and what is the best way to overcome them?
- who are the role models we look up to, and how can we scale their impact and enhance peer-to-peer mentoring?
- what are our biggest challenges balancing life and work, and how could the situation improve?
- what makes it hard for us to market ourselves and find funding, and what are some methods for overcoming those hurdles?
In partnership with the MENA Businesswomen’s Network (MENA BWN), W4Women will be a unique opportunity to connect with local leaders and young entrepreneurs.
Alongside Mix N’ Mentor Amman, W4Women Amman will take place at Mirage, a historical village outside Amman. The event is completely free.
