TURN8, an initiative launched by DP World, is organizing Hackathon Dubai Event that will be held January 9th and 10th, 2015 in The Cribb, Dubai, UAE.

Hackathon is an idea marathon event sponsored by TURN8 seed accelerator program to inspire innovation and entrepreneurship. TURN8 is seeking innovative solutions, business models and/or technology ideas that can be developed in a 120-day seed accelerator in Dubai.

In this event teams will work on the ideas and create prototype during a 48 hour long event. The event focuses on how best can the teams research and come out with facts to support the validity of the business and showcase the value the business would be able to impart.

The event will have a list of business workshops/training on the side of the Hackathon to help open the horizon of innovation and it will be supported by mentorship during the course of the event.
