Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum

Under the Patronage of H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce, Qatar University in cooperation with Interactive Business Network and Minister of Economy and Commerce is organizing the “Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum”, which will be held in Doha, Qatar on March 2nd and 3rd, 2015.

The Forum will be a platform aimed at fostering and promoting the concept of entrepreneurship among youth in Qatar and the wider Gulf and implementing degree programs to develop their skills to be able to take individual entrepreneurial initiatives and support the private sector. It will also discuss the importance of empowering the private sector, the small and medium enterprise sector and the importance of sustainable investing in entrepreneurship and human resource.

The forum is expected to attract wide interest and participation on the part of officials and policy makers, major public and private institutions involved in education and youth development, business leaders, banks and specialized financial institutions, economists and experts in various fields.
