ourMENA Jordan hackathon is your opportunity to play a more active role in helping build a smarter, healthier, and more prosperous Jordan and MENA for all its inhabitants.
In partnership with the Netherlands Embassy of Amman, local entrepreneurs, engineers, and technologists are on a mission to develop innovative solutions to key development and humanitarian issues negatively impacting communities in Jordan and beyond.
From March 2-4, at the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC), Netherlands diplomats and challenge area experts will be on hand to collaborate with participants and help drive high-impact solutions to these complex issues.
Hackathon participants will have to find creative and innovative solutions to problems in the following fields: water resource management, 'Rules of Origin on Jordanian exports', edugames, or any other problem the participants think is worth pursuing.
The top competing teams will receive cash prizes and additional in-kind support to help fuel the further development of their hackathon prototypes.
