Egypt-based property technology (proptech) company RentUp, has raised a six-figure pre-seed investment from Japanese private equity firm, Luqman Weise Capital, which specialises in technology development and fintech innovation.
The proptech startup plans to use the investment to expedite the development of its platform, set to launch in April.
“The platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to provide a practical solution-driven experience to its customers,” said Yahya Negm, founder of RentUp.
Founded in 2020, RentUp utilises AI-driven and machine learning technologies to disrupt the home-buying/rental industry. It covers both short and long term rentals.
