Following their release of venture capital cheat sheet The VeeCeepreneur, the MENA Private Equity Association (PEA) just launched an online directory of venture capital firms, angel investors, business incubators, and technology parks in the Middle East and North Africa.

The association's goal is to catalyze further startup growth and deal flow in the region, by making startups and entrepreneurs more aware of the options available to them. While the venture capital industry in MENA is young, the past two years have seen steady growth, with deal volume tripling in 2009 and 2010 from the previous two years, and fundraising in 2010 hitting a record USD300m, according to MENA PEA.

The directory itself is simple to use- it neatly packages relevant organizations in 7 lists Venture Capital firms, Angel/Seed Funds, Social Venture Capital Firms, Business Angel Networks, Incubators & Technology Parks, Business Plan Competitions, and Online Resources
