Jordanian entrepreneur Dr. Amin Amin, founder of young
startup CADER, Change Agent for Arab Development and Education
Reform, discusses how CADER works to promote teaching, learning and
working in Jordan by integrating ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) into the process. Amin explains how
CADER's model partners the private and public sectors,
involving two private companies and three public universities,
as it helps teachers to evolve.
"One of my favorite moments of satisfaction is when I witness how
my teammates who started with me 5 years ago developed their
ability to progress and how I was able to transfer my experience to
these people who evolved with me and were able to achieve
outstanding results", shares Dr. Amin. And talking about moments of
frustration, he says it is the lack of appreciation of the training
programs expressed by the schools that is the hardest to face.
About qualities of a successful entrepreneur Dr, Amin emphasizes
ambition, confidence in ones abilities and a strong will, in
addition to the ability to analyze, critical thinking, building on
mistakes and facing failures.
CADER which was founded in 2004 and consists today of 140
employees, is considered to be the largest provider of professional
development in the education sector in Jordan and the MENA.
