The leader of the winning team at Startup Weekend Amman, Darine Al-Ashy, talks to Wamda about SafePlay, an iPad and Android game teaching children appropriate behavior through feedback in a cartoon simulation. Built for kids from 4 to 16 years old, the game presents the players with scenes illustrating habits and asking kids to choose the good ones from the bad ones.

El Ashy says the team is planning to start a gaming company soon that produces educational and entertaining games for kids targeting international players, which, she says, is the main reason they did not develop the game with an Arabic interface.
