Social Media Trends in Saudi Arabia and the UAE [Infographic]

Did you know that 3 out of 7 internet users in the Arab World are on social media? And that in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, logging on to Facebook is the first action most user confess to taking online, before email (even during work)? Interactive Middle East has released an inforgraphic by Bayan.at detailing the social media habits of internet users in Saudi and the UAE, as reported in a white paper by Omnicom Media Group (OMG).

More results can be seen here, and the paper can be downloaded here. The results were collected after conducting face to face interviews with 600 online users per country, between the ages of 15 and 60, of various nationalities.
