AngelHack hackathon in Dubai

The AngelHack hackathon is a platform where participants compete to build, test, and launch their ideas to the world during the two-day event. It will take place in Dubai, UAE, on May 8-9 2015, in partnership with Microsoft Gulf and SquareCircle Tech.

Participants at the hackathon will be tasked with varying challenges and must create appropriate programs to overcome these challenges.

The winners of each of the three challenges will receive rewards from the events sponsors, in addition to an exclusive invite to the HACKcelerator.

A panel of experts and professionals of the industry will be the judges during the event:

-Sathish Jeyakumar - Principal IT Architect - Innovation, Emirates Group IT
-Kamal Kant - VP of DCC, Network International
-Gilles Fayad - Director of Technical Marketing, Qualcomm
-Joseph Boston - Mobile Lead @ Dubizzle
-P.K. Gulati (PK) - Maker-in-Chief at The Assembly

Athahar Mohammed, winner of Dreamforce hackathon, will also make be giving a talk on “Winning Strategies of a Global Hackathon.”
