1776 Challenge Cup is a worldwide tournament for the most promising, world-changing startups to win cash prizes and make international connections. Flat6Labs accelerator will host Challenge Cup Local in Egypt at The Greek Campus in Cairo, on December 28.

1776 is a seed fund and incubator from Washington, DC that is hosting the event in 50 cities, offering over $1,000,000 in prizes, connections with mentors & investors and a lot of global exposure.

To be eligible, startups must be:

-For profit business with an MVP on the market
-Have raised/generated less than $2.5 million in revenue to date
-Must fit one of the 8 categories: Education, Energy, Health, Transportation, Smart Cities, Food, Money, Security
