#MESTVideo Contest

Every day, news from the Middle East paints a portrait of chaos and despair. But in the maelstrom of violence and conflict, there are stories of hope, optimism, and progress for the region. The Middle East Strategy Task Force invites you to make a short video highlighting such a story (Note: submissions in both Arabic and English are welcome).

Participating videos in the #MESTVideo Contest must be 2-5 minutes long, uploaded to YouTube with “MEST Video Submission 2016” in the video description, and sent to MESTVideo@atlanticcouncil.org, where the contestant’s contact information must be included (name, e-mail, and phone number).

Accepted videos will be judged by a panel of experts based on the quality of execution, originality of the idea, creativity, and the message of hope it conveys.

Winners get cash as well as valuable in-kind prizes, so make sure to apply before October 3, 2016.
