BiD Women in Business Challenge Award Ceremony in Amsterdam

On September 12, the five finalists of the Women in Business Challenge flying from emerging markets will stand before a community of executives and practitioners to unveil their visions for their business. They will demonstrate how they’ve grown through the competition and the preceding week of training, consultancy, B2B and investor meetings.

BiD Network, ING & ICCO are organizing the Women in Business Challenge for the fourth time, a global business plan competition that empowers women entrepreneurs in emerging markets to drive growth.

In 2013, the competition saw a record number of 752 applications. Since its creation in 2009, the Women in Business Challenge has provided support, coaching, visibility and finance to over 1,500 women.

140 applicants were coached by ING professionals and over 150 started and grew their business.
