Netherlands Game Award Competition in Beirut

Building on the success of the Netherlands Game Award in 2012, AltCity, Lamba Labs Beirut Hackerspace, GeekExpress, Bader Program for Young Entrepreneurs, Beirut Creative Cluster, Wixel Studios, Game Cooks, Fovea, student groups and departments at several universities in Lebanon, plus IJsfontein (a top Dutch game company) and the Netherlands Embassy in Beirut are hosting the 2013 NGA GameDev Competition.

The competition awards the best new digital game in Lebanon a prize of 7500€, plus additional support from the team of partners and supporters. The larger aim is to build the creative game dev community in Lebanon, and to link the Dutch and Lebanese game developer communities.

After the launch on June 10th, the deadline for team and concept formation is July 30th. Contact gamedev[at]altcity.me to apply.
