Dubai+Acumen Social Enterprise Business Plan Competition

The Acumen for Social Enterprise Business Plan Competition 2013 (ASE 2013) aims to be an “innovation accelerator” competition designed to encourage participants to identify pressing social or environmental issues and develop original ideas for social ventures that address these gaps, coupled with the support and mentorship from Dubai+Acumen.

In this way, the competition works to foster a new generation of leaders in the UAE that goes on to develop viable social enterprises. Interested participants must submit a statement of interest by midnight on October 19, 2013. Selected entrepreneurs will participate in training workshops and mentorship and finalists will participate in the Grand Finale event in late Novemeber to pitch their ideas to a panel of expert judges.
