Requeue closes $1.6 million in Series A

Kuwait-based Requeue, an application to manage restaurant queues, has raised $1.6 million in a Series A funding round. The startup will use the funding to expand into more markets in the restaurant sector and to grow its customer base. 

Requeue allows users to browse the waiting lists of restaurants and register their names online for them. The application aims to improve the customer experience and shorten their waiting time while also enhancing the restaurant's performance and increase their sales.

Requeue currently operates in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and claims to have processed more than 500,000 orders.
