Startupbootcamp Fintech Dubai graduates 11 startups

Startupbootcamp Fintech Dubai has announced the graduation of its third cohort of 11 startups.

These startups included: UK-based Absolute Collateral and Compliance as a Service, UAE-based Aura Technologies, Finllect, Flaist, and Stornest, US-based Raseed,  Singapore-based Kilde, Hong Kong-based Open CBS, Malaysia-based Singular Capital and Jordan-based Tajjir. The selected startups were predominantly at seed stage, raising between $250,000 and $1.8 million.

Startupbootcamp Fintech Dubai was launched in 2018 in partnership with Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), VISA, Mashreq bank and HSBC. The fintech-focused accelerator has so far graduated more than 30 Fintech startups in the fields of payments, lending and Islamic digital banking.

Throughout the three-month programme, the 11 startups have gained access to mentors, comprehensive resources, insights, technology and expertise, enabling them to develop proofs-of-concept for their business models. The programme was also aimed to enable startups to develop partnerships with corporates and build investor relationships.

Mohamad Sabouneh, managing director of Startupbootcamp Fintech Dubai said: “Over the past 12 weeks the startups have perfected their business models, implemented new go-to market strategies, streamlined the operations, among many other growth areas. I'm confident in their continuous success and we, at Startupbootcamp FinTech Dubai, are very excited for the journey ahead for this cohort.”
