ArabNet Beirut

ArabNet Beirut is 3-day conference to take place on March 20-22, 2013, focused on the “digital and creative industries,” featuring top speakers and more than 600 executives, entrepreneurs, developers, designers and creative participants.  The conference will kick off with a "Design+Code" day, filled with workshops for developers, designers, and entrepreneurs- focused on building great web and mobile products.  

Days 2 and 3 will continue with the two-day Forum including talks, panels and workshops with an emphasis on online entertainment, digital art & culture, design & fashion, social media, social impact, and entrepreneurship.

The formal conference program will end at 4:00 pm followed by "Social Impact Sessions", a program of workshops and talks held in different sites across Beirut focused on social entrepreneurship, community, and citizenship.  The event will also feature an evening program, with themed meetups at restaurants, concerts, and exhibitions.

The conference will also feature ArabNet's Ideathon and Startup Demo, as well as a new competition, the Digital Creatives Competition, for young talent in digital advertising.
