Microsoft Imagine Cup UAE Local Finals

Imagine Cup is a leading student technology competition that has grown to become a top competition in the Gulf. The UAE local finals will take place at the Emirates Airlines Headquarters Auditorium on March 28th.

Thousands of students have participated in Imagine Cup Gulf; last year they had saw strong results:

  • Over 3,000 student registrations
  • Over 90 news stories in print, online & TV
  • 25 national teams competing at the local finals (representing Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates)
  • The Amazing Race Competition with national teams in UAE
  • 5 winning Software Design teams at the Worldwide Finals in Sydney

Imagine Cup local finals take place across the globe, but in the Arab world, Imagine Cup Gulf hosts local events in:

  • Bahrain
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Qatar
  • United Arab Emirates

There will be tons of prizes and awards to be won, but only one team will be chosen as the local Imagine Cup winner to advance to the Worldwide Finals in St. Petersburg, Russia. Check out the Competition Overview on their website for full details.
