Translation Fest 1 at AltCity - Beirut, Lebanon

The first T-Fest will take place at AltCity in Beirut on Wednesday, May 15 from 6 to 9pm with simultaneous events in Cairo and Rabat.

T-Fest or "Translation Fest" is a series of events with live interaction between the three locations to connect translators from around the region to translate specific material together.

AltCity and Global Voices are organizing the event in Lebanon to collaboratively translate two papers published by Tactical Tech, an organization dedicated to vizualizing information to promote social activism.

The two pages “Be Safe, Be Smart” and “Visualization Tools and Resources” are guidelines related to open source data visualization tools and digital security.

Join the community of enthusiasts to help translate the material and win prizes and recognition from AltCity and Global Voices.
