Qatar Business Incubation Center - Demo Day

QBIC, Qatar Business Incubation Center, is organizing its 2nd Demo Day of its “LeanStartup” program, which will be held on December 9th 2014 at New Industrial Area, QBIC in Doha, Qatar.

QBIC is headed by Executive Director of the Qatar Development Bank QDB, Abdul Aziz Bin Nasser Al Khalifa. It was launched this year to empower entrepreneurs to build their business by providing incubation, investments, development and networking.

The QBIC Demo Day is a day for QBICpreneurs who underwent 10-week (now 8 weeks left) LeanStartup Program where they will pitch their businesses to public and judges in order to be incubated at QBIC.

2:00 - 2:30  Welcome coffee and event pre-networking

2:30 - 2:35  Welcome note by Abdulaziz Bin Nasser Al-Khalifa, Chairman of QBIC

2:35 - 2:40  Introducing QBIC - Aysha Al Mudahka, CEO of QBIC

2:40 - 2:50  LeanStartup. A life changing experience.

2:50 - 3:15  1st round pitches (45 sec each startup)

3:15 - 3:25  Certificate awards to LeanStartup participants / Judging discussion

3:25 - 4:45  Finalists pitches

4:45 - 5:15  Coffee break / Judging discussion

5:15 - 5:30  Winners announcement
