Startup Weekend Marrakech 2016

Startup Weekend Marrakech 2016 is taking place in Marrakech from February 5 till 7. Organized by Startup Morocco, in partnership with OCP and entrepreneurship network Etablissement Elaraki , the competition is the 3rd stage of the Startup Maroc Roadshow. 

Startup Weekend is a 54-hour marathon and introduction to entrepreneurship during which project leaders work in teams to form startups and present their ideas. It is an opportunity to showcase your talents, share ideas and collaborate with others.

The program is as follows:

Friday Night: After the opening of the event, entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to the audience in under 60 seconds (fire pitch), after which the most compelling startups form teams.

Saturday and Sunday: The weekend is dedicated to advice, guidance, and mentorship, wherein teams may ask questions on communication, marketing, finance, online tools and more.

Sunday Night: Teams will present before a jury and an audience of potential investors for a chance to attend an international startup conference.
