Figures and statistics released by the World Bank reveal that 28 percent of the Arab World’s youth and 12 percent of the total population are unemployed, which are two of the highest rates worldwide.

The scarcity of work opportunities is driving startups of the digital economy forth to create more modern approaches to employment.

Nabbesh.com, a platform that matches talents with adequate job opportunities, managed to develop a network of 100,000 freelancers under one sole preference: Meritocracy. Loulou Khazen, founder of the concept, explains in this video how Nabbesh is creating bonds between job seekers and employers in the region, and how the platform is also facilitating and empowering women employment.
