Alexandria Augmented Reality/ Virtual Reality Meetup is a meetup for virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality enthusiasts in Alexandria, Egypt. 

On July 22, it will host its first invited talk for 2017 at Workstation, in Alexandria. Lisa Kotecki from AltspaceVR, "one of the most fully developed platforms" for virtual social interaction, will be speaking via video call on how VR can impact social anxiety, according to AltspaceVR's experience and in light of some interesting case studies. She will also discuss how social connections can be empowered by virtual reality.
