Speed@BDD has  officially launched the applications to recruit startups for their upcoming acceleration cycle.

The program accepts startup teams consisting of at least 2 cofounders at the Idea or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stages. This cycle is aimed towards ideas focusing on a solution or product in the software, digital, and web/mobile industries.

Founders should be based in Lebanon for the 3-month acceleration program. The program injects $30,000 in cash and provides daily coaching and one-on-one mentorship.

It concludes with a Demo Day, an event during which graduating startups pitch their businesses to a carefully selected crowd of investors and stakeholders in the local and regional startup scene.

The top 2 startups of each batch get sponsored for a potential Silicon Valley follow-on immersion and 1 startup is awarded the Seed Boost, a $50,000 cash investment for 5% equity following the acceleration.

There will be two infosessions about the acceleration program, held before the deadline::

• 19 July, from 6 to 7 PM. Startups can sign up here

The sessions will cover information about the acceleration program, Speed@BDD’s perks, and the benefits of joining a startup accelerator. Program alumni will provide their testimonial and will end with a Q&A session.

The Speed@BDD team will also be offering 30 minutes mentoring sessions in July. Startups will be able to book a slot here and benefit from one-on-one mentoring.
