Saudi Arabia's cloud kitchen Creative+ raises $2 million

Creative+ Cloud Kitchen announced the closure of its first investment rounds worth more than $2 million, with the participation of a group of investment companies and angel investors. 

Creative+ was founded in 2021 to offer a modern and unique model of delivering and catering food through its cloud kitchens with various brands/cuisines under one roof. The capital raised will be used to expand Creative+ footprint in Saudi Arabia and to build the team across the organisation.

On this occasion, the founder and CEO, Bakr AlHozaimi said: "The rise of on-demand food delivery is becoming a key trend in the food and beverages industry. Therefore, cloud kitchens represent a crucial element of this process, as freshly prepared snacks and meals are becoming a large part of our lives. The global cloud kitchen market size was valued at $51.96 billion in 2020 and is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.4 per cent from 2021 to 2028. At Creative+ we aim to be a major player in the Middle East region in general and the Saudi market in particular.”
