Beachill is one of three startups selected by Marriott Hotels TestBED Middle East and Africa [Video]

After launching its TestBED programme in partnership with Wamda in the Middle East and Africa region for the first time in September this year, Marriott Hotels announced three selected startups to implement their products throughout Marriott properties.

Beachill, an eco-friendly, solar-powered beach mattress that can charge guests’ mobile devices and keep their drinks cool, is one of three participating startups in the programme.

According to Antoine Sayah, founder and CEO, his mattress combines tech with design, and enhances the guests’ experience at outdoor places, “which is missing for the time being.”

The startup received various training and will be part of 10-week acceleration programme to pilot its product in a Marriott Hotel property in the UAE.
