Google Inspires Young Women in Tech at g|jordan [Wamda TV]

Arwa and Amal, two recent university graduates, explain what is exciting for them about g|jordan and why they are especially looking forward to seeing the women's roundtable.

Amal, who studied computer science at the German Jordanian University, points out that it's important to encourage women's creativity because women love to build take an idea and develop it.

Arwa, an electrical engineer from Jordan University, explains, "we have engineering classes, but the number of women is not that [high]. Not because we are not smart, but because we are not encouraged in our society to [pursue] scientific studies."

They're also thirsty for more technical tips, Google, if you're listening. While the women's roundtable was inspiring, it could have been a more detailed with its advice.
