There are very good reasons why Saudi Arabia is a country of choice for expansion by entrepreneurs from Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan, and its projected ecommerce sector is just one - albeit a large one.

This infographic by Go-Gulf in Saudi says the country's ecommerce is due to hit $10.9 billion in revenue by 2020, a leap from $5.9 billion this year.

As Saudi ecommerce sites proliferate and outsiders such as online marketplace JadoPado make the move into the country, the fundamentals of that market are beginning to look very sound.
